For our office in Luxembourg we are looking for an Associate Investment Funds Lawyer.

The Funds team in Luxembourg is widely recognized for its profound knowledge, innovative and business-oriented approach. As well as getting a variety of quality work, associates in the team also benefit from the knowledge, experience and infrastructure of a leading Benelux law firm.
You will work on the structuring, setting-up and organization of regulated and non-regulated alternative investment funds (AIFs) and their managers (AIFMs), advise on the most-suited investment structure set-up for our clients, draft and review fund documentation (LPA, offering memoranda, articles of association, subscription agreements, etc.) and agreements of different nature, prepare and coordinate filings with the CSSF, as needed.
You will advise international clients during the entire life cycle of their strategic projects and a wide variety of domestic and foreign fund managers and sponsors on legal and regulatory specificities (incl. ESG, marketing, investor matters, financing, etc.) relating to their investment strategies incl, private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, private debt and liquid strategies.
You will work independently with the necessary professional support from the Funds team but also hand-in-hand with our Tax, Finance, Corporate and Litigation teams providing a client with a complete and fully integrated advice.
Our ideal candidate
Holds a master’s degree in law, preferably completed by an LL.M.;
Gained a first professional experience within the field of investments funds at a major or well recognized law firm and have a strong appetite for the investment management area in general;
is a team player, who works efficiently with an entrepreneurial and commercial approach;
is fluent in English and German (other foreign languages being an asset);

Responsibilities
Providing Strategic and Day-to-day Legal Advice: Advising clients on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters with a strong focus on international transactions.
Drafting and Reviewing Complex Documentation: Preparing, analysing and adapting fund, investors and transaction related documentation.
Working Across Teams: Efficient and result-oriented collaboration with specialists in corporate, banking and finance, tax and litigation teams.
Client Relationship Management: Acting as a key contact for clients, understanding their strategic and commercial needs, and providing tailored legal solutions.
Business Development and Networking: Engaging in client outreach, participating in industry events, and identifying new opportunities for the firm’s growth.
Professional Requirements
Experience: 3-5 years in investments funds team of a major or well recognized law firm in Luxembourg.
Education: Law degree and admission to the Luxembourg Bar (List I preferred).
Languages: Fluency in English and German (any other foreign language is a plus).
Soft Skills: Strong communication, adaptability and teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
